Scope and controller

This notice describes how Catalysphere LLC handles information on this website. It applies to the public website, the contact form, optional first-party analytics, and the LENS research guide.

Contact form

When you contact us, we use your name, organization, email address, inquiry category, and message to review and respond to the inquiry, prevent misuse, and retain necessary business records. The message is delivered to our business email system and is not included in website analytics.

Optional analytics

Only after consent, we collect pages viewed, referring domain, time on page, scroll depth, article/topic navigation clicks, site language, viewport category, release identifier, selections made in LENS, and a random browser identifier. The identifier is stored in the browser for up to 90 days and is converted to a one-way hash on the server to estimate unique browsers. We use these aggregates to compare releases and improve articles, navigation, and the guide. They are not used for advertising or individual evaluation, and server records are deleted within 90 days.

Information excluded from analytics

Our first-party analytics do not collect names, email addresses, form or guide text, search terms, full referring URLs, IP addresses, or user-agent strings. LENS runs in the browser and does not send a conversation transcript to an AI provider.

Browser storage and operational logs

Your analytics choice and random analytics identifier are stored in this browser. The identifier is replaced after 90 days and removed from the browser when analytics are disabled. A unique-browser count is only an estimate: another device, browser, or cleared storage is counted separately, while a shared browser is counted together. Separately from optional analytics, we count settings displays and accept/decline choices by day, regardless of the choice, to assess measurement coverage. These counts are not linked to a person, page, referring source, or browsing history and cover up to 400 days; expired counts are deleted on the next successful submission. An in-memory display receipt prevents duplicate submissions: its server-side hash expires after 24 hours and is removed on the next successful submission. It is not a browser or session identifier. These are display counts, not people; missing choices may include failed transmissions, and return visits using a saved choice are not counted. The contact form uses a short-lived session cookie for abuse control. Separately, XServer records access logs such as IP address and request information for delivery and security, regardless of the analytics choice.

Sharing and service providers

Our first-party analytics are processed on this domain. Only after your consent, Microsoft Clarity also receives masked page structure, clicks, pointer movements, scrolling, page addresses, referring-page information and device/browser information for heatmaps and session replays. Connection information, including your IP address, reaches Microsoft; we do not send form entries or custom personal identifiers and we deny advertising storage. Query-bearing pages and referrers, private pages and QA visits are excluded. Clarity replay data last 30 days; heatmaps and labeled or favorited sessions last up to 9 months. Clarity cookies can last up to one year and are removed when you disable analytics. Disabling blocks new Clarity transmissions and aborts in-flight requests; already delivered data remain subject to Microsoft’s retention. Hosting and business email providers also process information needed for delivery and inquiries.

Choices and requests

You can change optional analytics at any time using “Privacy & analytics settings” in the footer. For questions or requests concerning your information, use the contact form. We may need to confirm identity before responding to an access, correction, or deletion request.
